Definitions and methodology Waist-to-hip ratio - the recommended waist-to-hip ratio is up to 1 for men and up to 0,8 for women.

The dataset provides an overview of awareness and perception indicators in the Salt consumption study in Estonia. Data are presented as response distributions and proportions describing awareness, evaluations and perceptions regarding salt consumption. The dataset enables examining differences in awareness by groups and linking them with behavioural and intake indicators. The purpose of collecting salt consumption data is to ensure a systematic overview of salt intake and related indicators in Estonia, so that time trends and risk groups can be monitored and the planning and evaluation of public health interventions, prevention activities and policy measures can be supported.
