Definitions and methodology

The total number of persons who underwent outpatient or inpatient care within a year. Persons are included in the table once, unless one person has two or more different new psychiatric diagnoses registered as the principal diagnosis during the year, in which case they are all counted.

The 2015, 2016 and 2019 data have been corrected on 17.06.2021.
The 2021 data have been corrected on 15.06.2023.
