* Health care staff is offering service in mobile units until 2019 nurse in Ida-Viru county and nurse and doctor in Tallinn, starting from 2020 only nurse in all regions.
** Peer, social worker and psychologist provide telephone and web counseling from January 2021, mental health nurse provide telephone and web counseling from January 2026.
The dataset contains an overview of services delivered by harm reduction mobile units (buses) in Estonia. Data are presented over time by quarter and shown by region, including indicators related to needle exchange, visits, and counselling. The dataset enables the volume and regional distribution of mobile harm reduction services to be examined in order to assess their role in improving access. The purpose of collecting harm reduction statistics is to ensure systematic monitoring of service provision and to support prevention activities and service organisation development.
