Obs:

Definitions and methodology County - patient's place of residence. Due to technical problems, it is estimated that 2015-2017 more than 40% fewer reports of patients, who were actually in drug treatment, were registered compared to 2014.
01.01.2008-09.02.2020 the drug treatment database was an anonymous national database, but since 10.02.2020 the drug treatment register is a personalized national register, which collects case-specific data on patients seeking drug treatment. The database collects data describing the socio-demographic variables, diagnoses, data describing drug use, risk behavior and treatment.
Until 2017, the data of the drug treatment database must be treated with reservations, because due to the outdated IT solution of the database, there were shorter and longer interruptions in the operation of the database work, which reduced the number of data providers and thus the number of records. In addition, non-personalized data were not of sufficiently high quality and efficiency to motivate the submission of data. Therefore, in the period 2014-2017, fewer records reached the database from year to year.
