The dataset provides an overview of malignant neoplasms diagnosed in Estonia, covering new cases of cancer. The data on new cases is presented by selected cancer site or site group (ICD-10 codes C00-C97 and groupings derived from these codes), sex, county (place of residence, Tallinn and Tartu city separately) and year. The purpose of collecting data on malignant neoplasms is to ensure the most complete and reliable registration of cancer cases and, on that basis, to provide national cancer incidence statistics and analytical opportunities.
