Definitions and methodology The importance according to school representatives is based on the school management questionnaire.
The importance according to caterers is based on the caterer questionnaire.
School representatives were also asked to rate on a 10-point scale the efforts made in the school to shape students’ eating habits through school lunch.
School representatives and representatives of the school caterer were asked to rate on a 10-point scale how important they consider shaping students’ eating habits through school lunch (e.g. following the plate model, timing and duration of lunch breaks, staff attitudes toward eating, guiding students to make better choices in the school cafeteria, etc.), where 1 means 'not important at all' and 10 means 'very important'.
The table shows the number of respondents and average scores.
