The dataset provides an overview of young people’s knowledge about methods to prevent sexually transmitted infections in Estonia. The data are presented as distributions by response options regarding prevention methods and are grouped by school type, grade, age and selected background characteristics (gender, nationality, type of settlement and region). The dataset enables comparisons between groups and examination of associations between knowledge and background characteristics. The purpose of collecting sexual health data on Estonian youth is to support understanding of developmental needs and to plan health promotion in Estonia.
