Definitions and methodology High blood pressure is defined as a systolic blood pressure higher than or equal to 140 mmHg and/or a diastolic blood pressure higher than or equal to 90 mmHg.
Waist-to-hip ratio – the recommended waist-to-hip ratio is up to 1 for men and up to 0,8 for women.
Body mass index categories: underweight <18.5, normal weight 18.5-24.9, overweight 25-29.9, obesity >=30.

The daily maximum amount of Na is 2400 mg.
The daily maximum amount of NaCl is 6000 mg.
The dataset provides an overview of data collection and data quality indicators in the Salt consumption study in Estonia. Data are presented as summary indicators related to collection and processing that help assess the reliability of results. The dataset enables examining quality indicators by groups and taking them into account when interpreting salt intake estimates. The purpose of collecting salt consumption data is to ensure a systematic overview of salt intake and related indicators in Estonia, so that time trends and risk groups can be monitored and the planning and evaluation of public health interventions, prevention activities and policy measures can be supported.
