The dataset provides an overview of risk indicators in the Salt consumption study in Estonia. Data are presented as measurement results and summary indicators describing the level and distribution of indicators among study participants. The dataset enables examining indicators by background characteristics and assessing associations with salt-consumption-related outcomes. The purpose of collecting salt consumption data is to ensure a systematic overview of salt intake and related indicators in Estonia, so that time trends and risk groups can be monitored and the planning and evaluation of public health interventions, prevention activities and policy measures can be supported.
