Definitions and methodology On 13.07.2017 'Screen time within recommendation, %' data was added.
* Sedentary activities done in front of a screen (TV, computer, tablet, smart phone, etc; video games involving physical activity are not included).
** Recommended screen time limit was 1 hour per day for 2-4-year-old children and 2 hours per day for 5-17-year-old children.
Only subjects at least 10 years of age were surveyed for vigorous-intensity physical activity; 2-17-year-olds were surveyed for screen time and participation in after-school activities.
WHO recommends at least 60 minutes of moderate- to vigorous-intensity physical activity per day (or 420 minutes per week) for children and adolescents.
