Definitions and methodology The table presents unweighted data.
The dataset provides an overview of the frequency of feeling depressed/sad among schoolchildren in Estonia. The data are presented over time by HBSC survey years and by frequency categories of feeling depressed/sad. The dataset enables analysis by sex and age (including totals and ages 11, 13 and 15). The purpose of collecting mental wellbeing data is to ensure a systematic overview of emotional wellbeing among schoolchildren, to monitor trends and group differences, and to support planning of mental health promotion and prevention activities. Data source: Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) study; data are compiled, analysed and published by the National Institute for Health Development.
