Definitions and methodology Health expenses of persons who have voluntary contracts of health insurance with EHIF are removed from EHIF (HF.1.2.1) to Voluntary health insurance schemes (HF.2.1) since 30.10.2017 for all years.
The long-term care expenditure from the year 2003 have been harmonized, and in addition, minor harmonisations resultant from the methodology have been made in the data for 2014-2021 on 28.04.2023.
The data for 2023 have been revised on 02.05.2025.
