The dataset provides an overview of all employees and total health care personnel in Estonia health care providers. The data are presented by year, type of service provider (incl. hospital type) and type of owner (public and private sector). From 2013, the time period for data is November. The purpose of the statistical report is to provide an overview of the age and sex distribution of health care employees and their workload by occupational group, for statistical use and aggregated reporting. Indicators are presented as absolute numbers. One person may be counted in multiple occupations and provider types; therefore, sums across breakdowns may not equal the overall total. Data source: National Institute for Health Development.
