Definitions and methodology From 2013, the time period for data is November.
One person can work under different occupations and/or different sectors, thus 'Total health care personnel' is not equal to sum of all the occupations. One person is included in every occupation and/or sector, where he/she works, but only once in 'Total health care personnel'.
The dataset provides an overview of employed health care personnel and full-time equivalent employment in Estonia health care providers. The data are presented by year, group of occupation and type of owner (private and public sector) of the service provider. From 2013, the time period for data is November. The purpose of the statistical report is to provide an overview of the age and sex distribution of health care employees and their workload by occupational group, for statistical use and aggregated reporting. Indicators are presented as absolute numbers. One person may be counted in multiple occupations and provider types; therefore, sums across breakdowns may not equal the overall total.
