The dataset contains an overview of hospital bed utilisation in a short-term statistics view according to the current bed speciality classification. Data are presented by quarter (2003-2016) and shown by bed speciality and bed utilisation indicators. The purpose of collecting short-term statistics is to ensure a comparable monitoring of trends in bed utilisation and to support health care resource management.
