Definitions and methodology Data are collected with notices by Estonian Health Board.
Data on incidence of tuberculosis are presented separately. Data of sexually transmitted diseases (excl. HIV): years 1998-2007 are presented separately in data table NH04.
Since 2013 data is not collected for these communicable diseases: bacterial and viral not specified intestinal infections; anogenital herpesviral infections (A60); infectious mononucleosis (B27); ascariasis (B77); enterobiasis (B80); pediculosis, ftiriasis (B85); scabies (B86).

Rates are calculated using annual average population.
Data on communicable diseases since 2020 by counties are not available in this database due to the increased workload of the Health Board, but is available in Health Board's web page.
