The table presents induced abortion rates (abortion ratio per 100 live births, total abortion rate, abortion rate per 1000 woman in fertile age, abortion rates by age groups) by woman's place of residence. Data are collected using a pregnancy termination card; data are provided by all health care providers (including private physicians) that perform terminations and provide medical care for women with spontaneous terminated pregnancies in Estonia. Data source: Estonian Abortion Register (which is part of the Estonian Medical Pregnancy Information System), National Institute for Health Development.
