The aim of infant breastfeeding statistics dataset is to have regular national overviews about share of infants, who are on natural diet among one-year old children. The dataset presents statistics on breastfed infants (up to 1 year old) - breastfeeding of infants (including both partially and excluxively breastfed children) by duration of feeding (from birth to 6 weeks, up to 3 months or up to 6 months) and by county of operating place of family doctor (18 categories, incl. Estonia total, Harju county, Tallinn, Hiiu county, Ida-Viru county to Võru county) and by year. In addition to absolute figures, the proportion of children receiving breast milk as a percentage of all 1-year-old children is also presented. Data source: National Institute for Health Development; data collected from primary health care providers (family doctor's offices)
