Data for 2020-2025 published on 31.08.2026, the extract from the register of which was made as of 24.08.2026. The register data for 2025 has changed compared to the data published on 26.05.2026 and 26.06.2026, which is reflected in other birth statistics tables (+6 birth cards for 2025 have been added to the register).

The dataset provides statistics on children born through assisted reproductive technologies (ART) by ART method (IVF, ICSI, FET, IUI, unknown). The number of children born through spontaneous conception is also included. The data is presented as absolute numbers and proportions (percentage values). The data is divided by the age group of the woman. Data source: Estonian Medical Birth Register (which is part of the Estonian Medical Pregnancy Information System register), National Institute for Health Development. The Estonian Medical Pregnancy Information System is considered to analyse the course of pregnancy, miscarriage and termination, and maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality, organize health services, develop health policy, evaluate diagnostic and treatment approaches, and conduct statistics and scientific research, including epidemiological studies.
