The dataset contains an overview of hospital beds and inpatient care use in Estonia according to the former bed speciality classification. Data are presented for 2003-2012 and shown by bed speciality, covering the number of beds, inpatients, discharges, bed-days, and rates per 100,000 population. The purpose of collecting these statistics is to monitor inpatient care volume, utilisation and workload across bed specialities and to support planning of service needs and resources.
