Definitions and methodology The table includes both inpatient and day care surgical procedures.
In 2003-2004 only day care performed in hospitals is included.
Outpatient surgical procedures are brought separately in the tables KP31, KP32 and KP33, and are not taken into consideration here.
'All operations' include NCSP chapters A-Q, Y.
'Operated' are calculated on the basis of the main procedure per discharge.
